Heartland Limousin Association “Cream of the Crop” Female Sale

A thick, heavy snow storm brushed across western Iowa during the evening of November 12 -- however, it did not disrupt the 2010 Heartland Limousin Association Fall Female sale the following day. A good, active crowd was on hand at the Straight family farm just outside Logan, Iowa. Breeders from five Midwest states consigned a very attractive offering to the November 13 sale. Open heifers paced the sale with a $2,496 average. The entire sale grossed $85,575 as 47 Limousin and Lim-Flex® lots averaged $1,821.
