2010 Englewood Farms’ Private Treaty Bull Sale

Englewood Farms welcomed a slew of bull buyers to the farm for their private treaty bull sale, April 10, 2010. Both commercial ranchers and purebred Limousin breeders went aggressively after the bulls. The sale format featured a silent bid period followed by a bid-off auction. Stout purebred and fullblood Limousin bulls were in good demand. Buyers paid particular attention to bulls with a balanced set of EPDs, stoutness, and sound feet and legs. Before the 2 p.m. auction start, buyers were treated to a tour of the Englewood program and got a sneak peek at the fall-born embryo transplant calves, as well as the natural-born spring babies.

Englewood Farms will be hosting their Open House and Private Treaty Bull Sale, April 10, at the farm, Lancaster, KY. 50 Purebred, Fullblood, and Lim-Flex® bulls will be for sale private treaty. The bulls are stout, big-numbered, tout predictable pedigrees – with many being outcross – and are sired by breed-leading AI sires. There is a little something for everyone.

Bids on the bulls will be accepted now until sale day. Many of these bulls are out of prominent breeding bulls found in the Englewood bull battery: Wulfs Sirloin 3172S, Wulfs Shop Talk 2332S, EAFF Medallion 462M, and CTCA Criss Cross 6254S.
